Prompt 1 - May - The Trail brightens in the mornings light, but nothing seems to look familiar?
Is the trail near your local stables...? Where have you gone?
Adora jumped off Astraeus quickly, the fog was swirling around them and neither horse nor rider could see a thing in the mist. "Just what I thought.. Looks like we do have a little mission after all!" Adora sighed and pulled out her compass. The little red needle spun wildly "No way.. They're not from round here!?" Something was tampering with the magnetic field, which could only mean one thing; A Magnet Dragon was nearby...
A scream whistled through the hills, although nothing looks familiar Adora estimated that they were close to the Pennines, which should signal wood or mountain dragons depending on the height. But a mineral dragon such as the Magnet Dragon this close to home? It was near impossible. What was worse, Astraeus was becoming very agitated and stallion like, which could only mean one thing, it was female. And she was protecting her nest... "We have to take this one out fast, lightning fast before it gets to the others on the trail!" Adora mounted up again and clicked Astraeus into canter, then she loosened the reins and let the well trained Nordanner do what he was bred to. Astraeus pricked his ears and veered right, catching a scent of the dragon straight away, Adora clung patiently onto the empty neckstrap, making a note to find an apothecary soon to restock on protection potions.
